Calvin Harris released his new album ‘18 Months‘ a few weeks ago.  He has a bunch of good tunes on there.  Two in particular are ‘Here 2 China’ + ‘Drinking From the Bottle.’  Calvin Harris teamed up with Dillon Francis + Dizzee Rascal on ‘Here 2 China.’  It is a quality tune.  The track begins with these hard synths that will drive you wild.  The production is incredible.  I have always been a fan of Dizzee Rascal.  Calvin Harris utilized his talent well on ‘Here 2 China.’  The song would work very well in a club.  I hope to hear it out in the city sometime soon.

‘Drinking From the Bottle’ is a fun dance tune.  Tinie Tempah is on the vocals.  This is a pure party track.  It is about going out, having a good time + drinking straight from the bottle.  It debuted at #25 on the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart on Sunday.  You will be hearing this song a lot in the upcoming months.  It is very catchy.

I have found a brilliant new drum & bass track called ‘Not Giving In’ by Rudimental feat. John Newman + Alex Clare.  This song is magic.  John Newman is singing his heart out.  He is pouring out his hardships + disappointments.  He does not end there though.  It’s a positive tune.  “Time to make these things feel right…not giving in.”  Go ahead!  Dance away your pain with Rudimental, John Newman + Alex Clare.  I know I will be.

Skrillex + Nero remixed MONSTA‘s killer tune ‘Holdin’ On.’  Skrillex + Nero have created the next stage of dubstep.  It is not a dubstep track.  They took elements of dubstep + sped it up with fantastically creative sounds + riffs.  The vocals are great too.  “Broken footsteps on the floor…I’m walkin’ all alone, but my hope will never die.”  This song will make you crazy.  I do not think you understand.  Hit the play button + you will soon understand.  This is genius!

I have to throw in a bonus track for you.  I just found a new Lana Del Rey tune that I am in love with.  It is called ‘Jealous Girl’ + it is amazing.  It is much more upbeat than most of her tracks.  She is seriously a ‘Jealous Girl.’  “If I can’t have you baby, no one else in this world can.”  You will enjoy this tune.
